Green walls are an amazing way to purify your indoor air naturally. Also they provide the added bonus of adding irregular and organic shapes into your interior design by means of biophilic effects. Small green frames, moss walls and sculptures could be as inexpensive as $35+tax and go up to $150'000+tax, depending on the plants, maintenance requirements, and design. Many offices use these as displays in their entrances to attract clients into comfortable and welcoming environments.
Moss Walls are comprised of preserved mosses and plants, which do not require maintenance. The lack of watering makes these a valuable alternative for homes and small offices. The only trade off is the lack of air purification. The average moss wall has an installation cost of $90+tax per sq.ft. An average moss wall of 100 sq.ft. has an installation cost of $900+tax and no maintenance cost asides from occasional replacements.Green walls are made with real plants and have an automatic irrigation system. Green walls start at an average cost of $350+tax per sq.ft. We implement plants such as Pothos and Spider plants to generate a range of textures. An average interior wall of about 100 sq.ft will have an installation cost of about $35000+tax and yearly maintenance of $2500+tax. These are recommended for commercial venues. |
