Pricing for Indoor Plants & Landscapes

Pricing for Indoor Plants is a bit more complicated than exterior landscaping as there are several factors to consider. We recommend that if you are doing it as a hobby to do it on your own and learn about the plants themselves, but if you are looking to have a professionally design indoor gardens or don't have time to maintain the plants to contact us. Here are some of the factors for pricing.
1.Season. Transporting indoor plants in the winter is no easy task and requires planning and a certain budgeting. One must have a heated truck and have a route where the plant does not suffer of cold stress. Most of these plants come from tropical, dessert, or Mediterranean environments. A hint of cold is sufficient to damage them and cause health disasters. If you are thinking on installing or purchasing indoor plants we recommend you to do it in the summer or have a heated truck in the winter. Transportation of plants could cost between $200+tax and $500+tax depending on the quantity. 2. Installation. Are you thinking on having these plants in a container, or planted in a designated space inside your home or office? The minimum installation per plant in a container is around $80+tax depending on size of the plant and container. For an entire garden you are looking at around $1800+tax at minimum, but the investment will last for years and all year-round. Additionally and unlike many other companies, our designs are free with the purchase of an installation. We also include two free in-person visits and free on-line consultations after installation of indoor gardens. 3. Plant material. Depending on the rarity of the plant these indoor plants can cost as little as $10+tax per plant to upwards of $1200+tax per plant. We accommodate our designs depending on your budget and level of involvement you want to have. Some of the most common plants we use for convenience are Photos, ZZ Plants, and Sansevieria. For instance, a Photos garden of about 100-250sq.ft. would cost between $1500 and $3000. However, these plants reproduce very fast and you can have plants for life with very little effort or maintenance. Not only they look amazing, they also are well known to purified the air we breath. So you'll be investing in a natural air purifier and an aesthetically pleasing landscape inside you home or office. |
4. Planting space. It is important to recognize that one of the most expensive aspect of having indoor plants is the location where to plant them. You must be wise as the type of investment that you'll be doing. You have two options. Either a plastic or fiberglass container, or custom made spaces that are inside you building for planting. The cheaper option are plastic containers, which range between $50+tax to $100+tax depending on the distributor. The next option are fiberglass containers, which are significantly more expensive in the realms of $400+tax to $3000+tax per container depending on the dimensions and distributor. Finally the more invested choice are custom-made containers or spaces. These can be made out of almost any material. The important factor on this is ensure there are vapour and water barriers to prevent any water from going through the materials. We recommend this option for someone that is looking into a permanent display for a indoor garden. The cost for these ranges from $800+tax to $5000+tax.
5.Maintenance. The last aspect of indoor plants is the maintenance. Event though is significantly much less than outdoor gardens and plants, there is some minimum maintenance required. Please be advised that while it is a bigger investment at front in comparison to outdoor plants, the rewards are significantly more lasting and cheaper in the long term. Initial investment for indoor plants counting labour, materials and plants, could run between $250+tax and $10'000+tax. The cost of maintenance would be absolutely free by you doing your own minor pruning and watering throughout the year. Alternatively, we can provide you with maintenance and consultation services that may have a yearly cost between $1000+tax and $3000.Final pricing must be confirmed based on a free quote.
