For those of us between their 50s and 20s, we have experience some of the most radical and fast-pace changes in human history. From using old dusty phonebooks to posting super bad or super good reviews about the most mysterious and prestigious restaurants in our cities. It is no secret that life has certainly evolved into a more stressful and buzzing stream of uninterrupted information with all the technology that surrounds us. Also it is no secret that this has led to some serious mental health predicaments in which  we all battle to find a sensible and sustainable balance. The continuous bombardment of information and accelerated pace at which we live now days makes us all remanence about the good old days  when we spent time admiring the things that surrounded us and appreciated them too! It has been said that ever since the first personal computer hit homes around the world, a seismic shift was noted in human psychology. Psychologist and sociologist around the world have urged us all to reconnect with slower pacing lives in order to sustain our day to day life for future years to come. A paper published  by Min-Sun Lee et al. noted significant differences between the interaction of humans with plant and with computers. The study showed evidences that interaction with plants produces sensations of tranquility, relaxation and soothing as oppose to computers.
This is not to say that computers are evil and they are going to take all over the world. Rather the article shows the importance of our connection to nature and what previous generations had growing up that we may be missing. It is essential to our growth both mentally and physically. Exposure to plants or resemblance to plants can add tremendous benefits to someone's life. Fair enough. I recognized my bias towards it. After all, they do pay me for opening this blog to others.

However, I must say that at a much deeper personal level I can say that plants have always added to my personal life. The sensations and smells, do remind me of nice things in life and provide me with a weirdly awesome sense of calm. Whether is when I go for walks to sooth the mind, or simply researching about Green Walls. I always find new interesting secrets about plants. For instance, did you know that bamboo is one of the fastest-growing plants in the world? These plants can grow up to 35 inches in day! That's like a human arm in a day !  (☉_☉).
So you really have to think about incorporating plants into your routine if you want to have a more relaxing life full of cool surprises.

What Our Clients Are Saying

"Oriana and her team did an amazing job in my backyard. Once neglected and with out life, I thought our backyard was a lost cause. But then Oriana showed up and in a matter of a day she transform it into a place to enjoy and relax. Thank you very much."
